IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014The Indian Institute of Technology has launched the official IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014 website. Those of you, who have eagerly been waiting for this, can now look up their website here. The IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014 website includes important information about examination dates, the syllabi for Physics, Chemistry and Maths, and other details about IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014.

Syllabus:

The website has the full syllabus of subjects, needed for the examination. Important topics from each chapter have been highlighted, making it easier for students to focus on those specific topics.

Examination Cities:

The examination centers have also been mentioned, with each zone having several examination center codes. The seven main examination zones include:-

Candidates need to click on their zone and find the examination center code for their state/city/town.

Important Dates:

The website also includes important dates for IIT candidates.

  • IIT JEE (Main) will take place on April 6, 2014
  • IIT JEE (Advanced) will take place on May 25, 2014
    • Paper-1: 09:00 to 12:00 hrs (IST)
    • Paper-2: 14:00 to 17:00 hrs (IST)

However, the IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014 website is still under construction, and therefore, only essential information related to the examination has been published so far. Other sections related to

All IIT aspirants will be allowed to sit for IIT JEE (Main) 2014. The top 150,000 who clear IIT JEE (Main) 2014 will be eligible to sit for IIT JEE (Advanced) 2014. Thereafter, the top 10,000 candidates will be shortlisted for interviews, for a place in the IITs.
